Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and other sales are now over. But many of us haven’t completed our holiday shopping. I’ve also been searching for things to purchase, so I’ve compiled a list with mostly affordable items that you might consider.
This guide will help you find the right gadget to give a tech-savvy friend or loved one.
Here’s to hoping that you find the items you’re looking for at reasonable prices.
Gaming Laptop
Alienware is the only gaming laptop brand that stands out in a world of gaming laptops. It is backed by Dell and represents the perfect blend of brand recognition with world-class quality.
If you choose the right gaming laptop, you’ll sacrifice portability and battery for power. You won’t use them on a flight anyway. My pick would be the Alienware m18 Gaming Laptop, with a starting price of $1,599 and an 18-inch touchscreen, should put a big smile on the face of your gamer.

The m18 has a well-lit cover and that distinct alien head that you may have seen regularly on “The Big Bang Theory.”
Standard Laptop
I’d choose the MacBook Pro for a laptop to use at work or in school. HP Dragonfly G4 Notebook Intel i5 Processor.
It’s not expensive at $1,099 Dragonfly, HP’s premium line, is a notebook that is ideal for work or school. It is relatively light (2.2 lbs) and is a good choice for students. Battery life is expected to be over 10 hours.

HP Wolf Security should make it more secure than other laptops. It also looks better. Dragonfly notebooks are the best I’ve ever tested. This is the one I would take myself.
AI-Enabled Performance laptop
There is currently only one laptop that I am aware of that has AI enabled, but that will likely change within a few months. Microsoft is the company behind it. Surface Laptop Studio 2It also has an integrated NPU, which will be available on most high-end laptops and mid-range laptops by next year’s end. This one is the only one that currently has it.

Surface Studio Laptop 2 is priced at $1,999 and comes with a cantilevered display and a decent pen that charges itself. It’s ideal for tools like Dall-E and will have a performance advantage when used with ChatGPT-based AI generative programs. This could be a great option for anyone looking to gain a little extra AI knowledge, given the high demand for AI.
Headphones
The headphones that I have seen most recently are the Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless headphones. These headphones are currently on sale at $279 for $100 off. They have active noise cancellation, making them great for music, movies, and phone calls.
These headphones are designed to block out noise and provide a peaceful listening environment, whether you are on an airplane, or in another noisy environment.
The Sennheiser name is on these aesthetically pleasing headphones. These headphones aren’t cheap, but they will make the recipient proud.
Earbuds
They are not very impressive when packaged. Even though they make you look like an idiot when on a telephone call, earbuds are still preferred by many. Bose products are hard to beat when it comes to sound. I recommend the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II.

The earbuds cost about $200 and are available in Triple Black or Soapstone. These earbuds are less garish than Apple AirPods and have a better sound. Strong brand, great looks and an affordable cost make for a nice gift.
Microphone
I am a fan of the microphones that are available. HyperX QuadCast S – USB Microphone HP.

This mic is a great gift for Twitch and podcast fans. It has many sound options, lights up so it looks fantastic on your desk.
This is a great gift to give someone that they can keep on their desk. This is a gift that looks great, sounds great and leaves a lasting impression.
Keyboard
A keyboard is another item that’s prominently displayed on the desktop. I’m currently using the Dry Studio Black Diamond 75 Advanced Version carbon fiber keyboard.
It’s expensive for a keyboard at $295 but it is an amazing piece of art. The keyboard’s mechanical switches, impressive weight and awesome appearance should make it last for a long time. It is also a good choice for anyone who prefers the feel of quality mechanical keys.
Fit and finish are a reflection of the “supercar” styling. The Black Diamond 75 keyboard looks almost too beautiful to use. However, if you are looking for a gift that will be remembered, this keyboard is a great choice.
Mouse
The mouse is one of the best PC gifts you can buy. I have enjoyed it the most so far this year. Mad Catz R.A.T. Pro S3 Currently, a wired optical mouse is on sale for around $62. This is a gaming mouse with a lot of options and switches. I like how it feels, and after using it for months it still looks good.

The R.A.T. Pro S3 comes with RGB lighting and appears to be much more expensive. This PC upgrade is suitable for both general use and gaming. I prefer to use a wired mouse instead of a wireless because there is nothing worse than your mouse battery dying in the middle or a battle.
Head-Mounted Display
You may find that you want to hide in the background during the holidays. This is because you don’t want anyone to see you or hear you. You can browse the internet, watch movies and videos, or do some work with a head-mounted display.
It is important to note that the word “you” means “you”. Rokid Max AR Glasses This headset is the least expensive of all the ones I’ve tried so far, priced at $399.

They have speakers built into the earpieces but I use headphones to get that extra level isolation. I can watch movies without disturbing my wife while she sleeps. These things are also great for planes. And when you’re not using your headset, you can personalize your space with custom canvas pictures prints for wall art.
Dashboard Camera
Many scammers are out there, as well as people who will not admit to driving under the influences of alcohol. Dash cameras are a good defense. The 70mai Omni Dash Cam 360 is my current favorite gift and the one I will give this year.
It is important to note that the word “you” means “you”. 70mai web store Currently, these are on sale for just $110 This is a huge discount of nearly $80 and they are much cheaper than Amazon.
These cameras are shaped like R2-D2 upside-down, and they automatically rotate to capture all activity within the vehicle even when the car is parked. It can also take random photos of the car (selfies), listen to voice commands, or remind you to take breaks if driving without a break for too many hours.
This is an excellent deal for a safety device. Knowing that there is a built-in camera can help to reduce issues such as road rage or dangerous driving. This will keep the receiver safer.
Sleep Aid
While it is a bit pricey, this is one of the products I miss most when traveling. I use it every night at home. Chilipad Dock Pro Sleep System.
In my childhood, I remember getting up early with my brothers to compete for the best vent to blow warm air from the furnace. The Chilipad Dock Pro allows me to set it up to pre-heat my bed at night and keep me cool throughout the night. I sleep hot, and I want to stay in bed as long as possible.

Chilipad Dock Pro, a dock for your phone or tablet, is one of my favorites. Priced between $1,899 and $1,000 for a Cal King bed, this is not an inexpensive gift. But it could be something you give to your spouse, and then benefit from. It is also great in the summer as it cools and heats.
Wrapping Up
This guide is intended to help you find gifts that will be appreciated by your family and friends.
Wishing you a wonderful holiday — and may Santa be as generous and kind to you as you are to others. Happy Holidays!
