Nvidia gave the first presentation at CES I attended this year. The presentation set the tone. Nvidia ACE A robotic future is quickly becoming a reality.
There are already a few robotic fast-food outlets. And at CES in this year, vendors were showcasing their first large wave of robots, including one that is intended to compete against the Tesla robot.
This robotic wave was introduced at Dell Tech World. Dell has since then had one large robotic project called Concept Luna that was extremely compelling, but has not yet made it past the concept stage.
This week let’s discuss robots. I’ll then close out the week with the RTX4070 Super from Nvidia. It is a well-priced new graphics card.
Yarbo
(Images Credit: Yarbo)
I am a YarboIt is impressive. It’s a modular robot yard that can transform from an autonomous snowblower (the configuration I own) to an automated lawn care robot. It uses a game controller to map out areas to be covered.
This little guy is fascinating to watch because it works on tracks rather than wheels. It’s powered by a docking station so it can be ready to go at any time.
Ecovacs Deebot Combo
You can also find out more about the following: Ecovacs Deebot X2 This is a unique combination of a robot vacuum and a stick vacuum. It is interesting because it has one the most advanced AIs. Also, its square design allows for better access to corners. The Deebot X2 includes a hot-water mopping function and integrates regular vacuuming functionality into the robot’s base. It also has a base from which the robot can refill and empty its dirt bin.
This vacuum at CES came with a stick-vacuum accessory that allowed it to reach places the robot vacuum couldn’t, such as stairs. This vacuum costs around $1700 and isn’t the cheapest, but I think it’s more powerful than any other robotic vacuum I’ve tested or used.
Samsung Ballie
You can also find out more about the following: Samsung Ballie It was first introduced in 2020. It has since been updated so that it can do things such as manage Samsung appliances at home or project videos. Over the next few years, the market will explore the needs of consumers in mobile digital assistants.
This is not what I’d choose if my dog was a big one who loved to fetch. I imagine it would be a chew toy. While it buzzes about the house, it sends out video updates of what it observes and can help with home activities such as exercising. It is one of the earliest examples of AI at home.
Parkie
The following are some of the ways to get in touch with us Parkie This thing is designed to fit into parking lots or structures. I can see how it would be very useful for those of us who have small garages. It looks like a large skateboard. It goes under the car and lifts it. Then it drives it to a parking space.
Using Level 4 autonomous driving technology — which seems to be overkill given this doesn’t need to drive around town or on freeways — could be a great way to reduce car damage in tight places. I wonder if it could work with a car trailer that is enclosed. I’ve seen many show cars get damaged when they are put on or removed from a trailer. This robot is cool and I can use it in my garage.
Shadecraft Sunflower
I want it Shadecraft Sunflower It would solve the problem of shade in my yard. It is a robotic shade that adjusts to the sun’s position and prevents sunburn. You’ve probably slept outside and woken up with a sunburn. Shadecraft Sunflower is the answer.
You can relax outdoors while listening to podcasts, books or music.
This product was released in 2018 but it was one of the big success stories at CES 2018. It’s on my list of summer wishes. I don’t know how I missed this when it first came out.
Mirokai Robot
You can also find out more about the following: Mirokai Robot The robot from Enchanted Tools, a French company, is arguably the one that has the most futuristic features. This robot balances on a ball and can move in all three directions almost instantly. It can grasp objects, has a face with emotions and is the size of an average 12-year-old.
This robot, based on a cartoon figure, would look great in your home and perform complex tasks. I think it’s rolling art. This is a great, if expensive, product from a company that we will need to keep an eye on in the future. The robot I saw was more advanced than most of what I saw at CES.
Moxie Robot
You can also find out more about the following: Moxie Robot This tool is specially designed to support children’s learning at home. This robot is one of many AI tools being developed to help parents and teachers interact with kids. During the pandemic, this robot would have helped kids learn to interact better. It could also reduce the number children who became near-feral as a result of the extended shutdown.
This tool is intended to help children regulate their emotions, increase self-confidence, enhance communication, improve relationship skills, be creative, and solve problems. I suddenly think I need one. Although it’s not cheap at $799, this could be a vital tool for families who both work and want to positively influence their child’s health and development.
Loona Companion Robot
You can also find out more about the following: Loona Companion robot is a robotic animal that interacts with its owner using generative AI. This $400 companion robot is perfect for people who don’t want to be responsible for a pet but still enjoy company.
It has a full 3D navigator, can interact with users and respond to voice commands. Loona topped the Christmas sales charts last year. It is charged at a dock so it’s ready to go whenever you are. I find it surprisingly cute and wonder how the device would interact with live pets. It allows you to monitor your house remotely, as well as your children and pets. It looks really fun.
LG Smart Home AI Agent
It is not known what the name of this robot will be (which seems a bit odd), but it’s a two-legged robotic assistant that works with LG appliances. The robot is similar to Samsung Ballie with a robotic look.
It uses Qualcomm’s RB5 robot chip to operate. It is part of LG “Zero Labor HomeThe next few years will see the introduction of some incredible new home automation technology.
Kepler Forerunner Series
You can also find out more about the following: Kepler Forerunner series When we hear the word “robot”, our first thought is usually a humanoid robot. This is a two-legged humanoid robot, which can perform human-level tasks, such as carrying packages, reaching to grab things and helping around the house.
This robot could be used to assist the elderly or disabled. I’m sure it would be very expensive, but the capabilities of this robot set a new standard for humanoid-type robots.
This year, the technology on display at the show was impressive. It has full human-like motion, including the arms and hands. It also has decent strength and can navigate stairs thanks to its two legged design.
Matic Robotic Floor Cleaner
You can also find out more about the following: Matic robot floor cleaner It is unique because it can collect a lot of liquids, such as when a child spills milk on the ground. The device is designed to collect a lot of dirt and liquids.
This Matic has one of the most advanced AI navigation systems, and it looks like it can handle dog poop without spreading it all over the floor — though I didn’t verify this. It’s size means it cannot go under furniture, but for those with kids or pets, this could be the perfect choice.
Artfully Barista – Bot
You can also find out more about the following: Artly barista bot You may soon see a robot barista in a Starbucks, which can imitate the human barista’s actions including steamed milk.
The shortage of workers in these industries is driving the adoption of robotics into the food industry. fully robotic fast-food places Already open. This robot demonstrates that it’s possible to build a robot which can perform repetitive tasks that humans do, such as food preparation, with a higher level of consistency and quality. This is the future for fast food.
Wrapping up
The CES was flooded with robots this year. They reminded me too much of the Robopocalypse book. almost movieIt was a decade back.
The event was full of interesting stuff. Robotic vacuum cleaners and digital assistants were among the highlights. But this is just the start of the robotic revolution. Parts from companies such as are increasingly supporting it. Nvidia You can also find out more about the following: Qualcomm.
I think we will be surrounded by robots in mid-decade and hope that it ends better than the Robopocalypse novel.
Nvidia RTX Super 4700
GPUs are still used for a lot of AI work. Nvidia has announced a new GPU with a high value. RTX 4700 Super.
This GPU, which costs $599 on list price, will provide significant performance improvements over Nvidia’s previous efforts. It is also priced at an affordable rate. The RTX RTX Super 4800 and RTX RTX Super 4700 are also available, but they’re likely too powerful for many of you, who want to futureproof your PC and not be at the forefront.
This RTX 4700 has a significant performance boost over the old RTX 2070 and 3070 cards, making it a cost-effective upgrade if you are running one of those older cards — particularly the 2070, which is aging out.
For an idea of how much performance is gained, the RTX card can double the framerates of the RTX card 3090 and, depending on which game, more than triple framerates of the RTX card 2070. This card is designed to be a good fit for the new AI tools and games that will arrive in the future. It should also provide a performance boost for desktop systems.
The Nvidia RTX 4070 is a good card for a reasonable price. This product will be available on January 17th, and is my Product of the week.
