The Copilot+ computers have arrived: initial impressions

Both of my Copilot+ PCs that I received for review are excellent products. I received a beautiful HP EliteBook Ultra 14 as well as the Microsoft Surface Laptop 7th Edition. Both have just begun shipping.

Although they are almost identical, the HP EliteBook is designed for enterprise buyers. It offers features such as Wolf Security which this user group highly values. Microsoft is targeting the Surface Laptop to people who might otherwise purchase Apple.

These products perform better than their Apple alternatives. However, neither HP or Microsoft offer the same level and quality of smartphone integration that Apple users are accustomed to.

Microsoft and HP have the capability to build better hardware than Apple. However, neither company has even tried to offer a better solution. This makes these Apple comparisons meaningless.

This week we will be talking about Copilot+ computers and closing with the Product of the Week – the best new electric vehicle on the market.

HP EliteBook Ultra 14

It is important to note that the word “you” means “you”. HP EliteBook Ultra 14 It is a beautiful piece of work. The laptop comes in Dragonfly Blue – my favorite color until someone creates a purple version. HP made the old Qualcomm notebook, which was my favorite laptop of all time. FolioThe perfect configuration would have been one of the new Copilot+ computers. My second favorite notebook was an old Dragonfly in the same colour as this EliteBook.

This notebook has a weight of under three pounds and 28 hours of video. The notebook has 16GB of RAM, a 512GB HDD, a bright display (indoors only) with 300 nits brightness, and is priced just below $1,700.

The new Wolf Security anti-malware uses AI to identify and reduce threats. This unique solution has no equal in the marketplace. This level of security for business laptops is essential. With the attacks by hostile nation states like Russia, China and North Korea, which are still on the rise, focusing on those who work in large corporations with privileges that they want to steal.

The EliteBook Ultra has two USB-C, one USB A, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. While in use, the power supply is an external USB-C device that plugs into one of these USB-C port. This notebook supports WiFi 6E.

Microsoft Surface Laptop, 7th edition

It is important to note that the word “you” means “you”. Microsoft Surface Laptop, 7th Edition It’s also beautiful. It is available in four different colors: black, sapphire, dune and platinum. The black color is my favorite.

Surface Laptop 7th Edition | Image Credit: Microsoft

Surface Laptop uses the PixelSense Display, which has an aspect ratio perfect for Windows. This is a unique feature that seems to only apply to Microsoft products. It is a little brighter outdoors, but still not ideal. The HP EliteBook starts just below $1,000. However, when configured in a similar way, the price increases to just under $1400.

The Surface Laptop is identical in size and weight to HP’s EliteBook. It remains my favorite Surface configuration despite the fact that the Surface Pro has a better performance due to the WAN option. This should be included as both products use Qualcomm’s solutions. Qualcomm has excelled in WAN modems for years.

Surface Laptop’s battery life is less impressive due to its more powerful screen, but still impressive at 20 hours.

Surface Laptop has a unique power supply. It doesn’t take up the USB-C port, so you can use both USB ports. The laptop also features a USB A and headphone jack. It is designed so that the power supply can be easily disconnected if the cord is tripped over, protecting the device. This feature is essential for anyone working at home with pets or children.

Microsoft’s online trade-in program This offer is currently up to $600.

Wrapping Up

Surface Laptop, 7th Edition is my favorite laptop. I like the HP EliteBook Ultra for its appearance, battery, security, and features. I also prefer it because of its display, power, and price. Both products are among my favorites from the respective companies. These products are both impressively designed and built.

Although my ideal product is still one that uses the old HP Folio Configuration, I would be happy to carry either. The EliteBook Ultra 14 & Surface Laptop, 7th Edition are only the first of a new wave of AI-enabled computers.

I expect that future versions will move further away from the existing standards, as they start to embrace what a PC conversational interface can become. This could make keyboards and touchpads obsolete in time.

The NPU will also be supported by more apps over the coming year, making both products more appealing. Microsoft Recall has been put on hold for now. This means that the main feature of these Copilot+ notebooks is their unique design. Cocreator support. Support. This app is essential to me because both my stepmother and mother were artists and I cannot draw.

The end of the AI PC era will be very different.

Tech Product of the Week

Product of the week: 2025 Audi RS e-tron GT

I recently bought a second-hand Audi etron GT. This car is my favorite. It was a very minor update between 2021, when it became available for purchase, and 2024. This makes my 2022 an incredible bargain. The 2025, however, is a massive leap forward. It’s the fastest Audi production car ever.

The GT version of mine has 460 horsepower, but the RS has an extra 100 horses. The GT version has a 0-60 time of 3.6 seconds, while the RS version is 2.9 seconds. Impressive, right?

The 2025 GT is able to reach 671 HP, with a 0-60 time of 3.4 seconds. The RS version can achieve 845 HP, with a 0-60 time of 2.8 seconds, and the RS GT Performance has 912 horsepower, with a 0-60 time 2.5 seconds. This is close to the Tesla S Plaid, which has a 1.98-second 0-60. These numbers are still impressive, especially when compared to the modified C8 Corvettes, which run a 2.2-second time from 0-60.

The e-tron GT, as noted above, is a GT sedan that has about the same (though smaller) dimensions as a Tesla Model S. I believe it looks better and has a more luxurious interior.

The new etron GT has an even better suspension system that raises the car almost instantly, making it easier to enter and exit. It also combats nose-lift on acceleration and keeps the car flatter on turns than any production sedan or GT I’ve seen. Its demo model It is impressive. The new model has an additional 100 miles of range, making a big difference.

The addition of a button to boost the car when you press it is one of my favorite features. This happens automatically on my 2022 model when I push the accelerator, but having a button to do it would be much better.

The etron GT is not a cheap car. The e-tron GT starts at more than $100,000 and can reach close to $200,000 in its most powerful configuration. If you see someone driving a supercar you can make them feel embarrassed. The massive torque that the two-speed motor and transmission produce is worth the admission price for me.

The new 2025 Audi e-tron GT is my Product of the week because I love my 2022 Audi e tron GT.
